Becoming a My CWA volunteer can give you the opportunity to be an active part of positive change in your community.

Why volunteer?

You’ll get the chance to make a difference, gain valuable experience, further your career prospects and gain new skills – all while helping those affected by domestic abuse to work towards a safe and positive future.

Our passionate and dedicated volunteers are critical to our success. We pride ourselves in offering a specialised and fully supportive student placement programme and have been named Volunteer Host of the Year twice by Manchester Metropolitan University.

What’s in it for me?

Along with an honours and awards scheme, we offer our volunteers continuing training and development opportunities. We’re a fully inclusive organisation, so whatever your interests, experience or skills, we welcome enquiries from all areas of the community and believe that you can help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by domestic abuse.

To find out more about volunteering opportunities at My CWA, please download and read our volunteering pack. Or call 01270 250391 for an informal chat with our volunteer co-ordinator. Please take a look at our support us pages for more about how you can help us.
